Will this work on a LG G3 phone that operates on Android System I want to give this as a gift to my fiance. Who has a LG G3. His phone does operate on the Android sytem but it is not a samsung. I just wanted to make sure it is possible to sync and if so, are there any draw backs?

The device will only work with Samsung phones. It will not work with any other manufacturer, despite being on the Android OS.
