Just download the Samsung Health app, but a cellphone is better. You wil get all the phones notifications. Answer phone with watch, especially while using Bluetooth headset. See messages without looking at phone, and answer with preset answers. Listen to voice mail.

If you mean how does it compare, it's like apples and oranges - the Tab S2 is a tablet device which has it's own functionality, while the Gear Fit 2 is best used in addition to another device. That means there is no real comparison that can be made. I can't answer about compatibility unfortunately, as I don't have the Tab S2 to test.

From what I can tell, the Gear app only works on phones. I have 2 tabs at home and neither one can run it.
