The two things that have caused a red light and no printing for me on my Samsung M202OW inkjet printer are as follows: 1. Low toner. If the toner should not be low yet, take out the cartridge and shake it back and forth and see if that helps. (Warning, do not order ‘substitute’ toner. Stick with the brand name.) 2. Printer thinks it is out of paper. While this might be caused by a paper jan or a shred of paper left there after a paper jam, in my case it was because the paper feed was not working. I now have to remove the toner cartridge to be able to reach in and lift the white feeder levers manually to place the paper in far enough to be sensed. It is tedious but at least I can print again. Not sure how to get a more lasting fix.
