The printer is printing documents fast and without wired connection to the computer. After setting it up and matching printer with the computer you can remove the wired connection and the wifi functionality of the printer works. Besides, the ink does not dry up and can be used for long period of time.

This is a great little printer. I was sick of owning inkjet printers with cartridges that constantly dry up between my infrequent printing (even though they aren't supposed to dry up.) For the price of a couple inkjet cartridges, I was able to buy this printer when it was on sale. The toner in this thing will probably last me the rest of my life. Install was easy. I installed it on a Windows machine, but I've printed from my iPhone, an iMac, and Macbook Pro with no issues or installation needed. My ONLY issue with this thing so far is that it has the shortest power cord I've ever seen. Placing the printer on my desk, the cord does not reach my power strip on the floor. My desk is an Ikea adjustable desk, but I have it so that the table top is at about 30" high. If I hang the printer right over the edge of the desk, the cord can almost reach the power strip. Why do they include such stupidly short power cords for things? Is it supposed to sit on the floor only? If I were to plug it into the outlet on the wall, it reaches that. But honestly, who does that? Especially in the lightning capital of the world, Orlando FL?

There are no bells and whistles with the printer. I was looking for a small laser printer for a dorm room and this fits the bill. This printer will be used by a college student. I already own one of these printers and when my daughter was getting ready to go to college I knew that I would get her the same printer. It is a basic laser printer at a great price. We have been using this printer for three years at our house and I had no hesitation to make this purchase.

This is one of the best low budget laser printers on the market. When on sale the price is less than inkjet refill cartridges alone and will last much longer. If you only print occasionally this will last a long time and ink won’t dry out. Sadly as with most budget printers the toner costs as much as the printer on sale. Why Samsung/HP has chosen disposable printers in lieu of affordable toner is a mystery. If you’re a heavy printing person you may want to opt for a more expensive product that will give you more pages per toner than this one. One con is that the wireless setup is not intuitive as just getting the Samsung mobile app. Couldn’t get it to find the printer. But once I used my laptop and set it up to “wireless” it worked perfectly and the app found it. A pro for Apple users is that this is identified as an AirPrint device. Quality of prints are ok. Remember this is a light duty budget printer. If that’s your expectations then you will be satisfied. I always choose laser over inkjet.

The first thing I noticed about this printer was how much more refined the print quality was when compared to my previous inkjet printer. The unit itself is quite small and the ability to print directly from an iPad or iPhone is terrific. I did have a little difficulty getting the WiFi working but that was resolved by using the printer cable to complete the setup and since then the WiFi has been fine. I haven’t had the printer long enough to comment on its durability or the longevity of the toner cartridge.

Very easy nonwireless setup and began off printing well. But then after fewer than 50 copies (done over a period of a week) there was pale patch all the way down the right side. Taking the cartridge out and shaking it helped for about 5 copies and then the process had to be repeated. I do not usually do much printing so this is doable and maybe when I replace the cartridge the situation will resolve. I don’t know if this problem is common or if the particular printer or cartridge is at fault. At this point I would only recommend this printer to someone who prints few copies and very rarely. I needed it because I print rarely enough that my previous inkjet printer dried up.

This was an employee recommendation when we visited a local Best Buy store. We had intended to buy a more expensive printer; however after explaining our needs, he informed us we could get this printer for quite a savings. So glad he was there and gave us this info because he was right, it does the job for printing college papers and saved us a bit of money.

I bought this on sale for $70 to replace an old HP wi-fi printer. Going with a monochrome laser is also more economical than the cost of the inkjet cartridges. This printer also supports Apple’s AirPrint feature, which works flawlessly. I have multiple Windows and Macs connected and everything works fine. The included software is also a nice feature that provides info and configuration options.
