I've used the Samsung ML-2150 driver for this model and it works!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Answer: Sort of. You must set it up via Google Cloud Print. I tried IP, TCP/IP, LPD to no avail https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/samsung-ml-2165-laser-printer-series/17156968/model/17156970/document/c05586697 Here's a link for the directions to setup your Cloud compatible printer. My M2020 now prints! Hooray Best of luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am guessing you are referring to the wireless capabilities and not directly connected. If you use the Samsung mobile app I can’t see why not. I don’t have a chrome book to validate but it works with my laptop and iPhone and iPad. The only tricky part may be the wireless setup. You may have to direct connect via cable to configure it to wireless but after that all will be well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Google Chromebooks can directly print to a "IPP everywhere" type of printer via a USB cable. FYI https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/7225252?hl=en https://www.pwg.org/ipp/evefaq.html
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The short answer is that printing doesn't work with Chromebooks. Google initially wanted people to use their cloud print service, but that rarely, if ever, worked. That service is no longer supported by google. I typically work in google docs on the Chromebook, then print from a Windows machine. There appear to be workarounds using .ppd files, but I have no desire to revisit the early days of Linux and manually configure printer drivers.
