Yes. I bought this laptop from Best Buy and it has an Intel® Core™ i7 8550U Processor which is a quad core. I'm not sure what you looked at on Samsung's site but they do offer this exact laptop. Since it's last year's model, it doesn't show up on Samsung's site unless you search by the model number. Perhaps you were looking at this year's line if Notebook 9s, which best buy doesn't sell yet for some reason.

Windows Task Manager agrees, 4 core, 8 threads. It's more likely that the Samsung website is misinformed than anything, at least my experience is that they have no idea what they're talking about over there. Good products, just lack of product knowledge on the English front-end.
