Dome siren and chimes zwave works with these sensors to do audio notifications.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This device does not have a built in alarm. You will need the smartthings hub... and either a speaker or chime that will also link to the hub. I have my sensor buzz my phone when the door is opened and closed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are using the Smartthings controller the developers community has a number of solutions like changing the color of your lights, flashing the lights or playing something to your smart enabled speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This device does not have a speaker built in. Therefore it will not produce any audible type notifications. Once this sensor is triggered, it will tell the SmartThings Hub that an event has taken place. The SmartThings Hub will do whatever you programmed it to do. You can program it to turn on lights, send you a push notification to your smart phone, text message you, trigger an audible alarm located somewhere else etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nothing rings on the sensor itself. This is just a sensor. It can detect open/close and notify the hub which can trigger a compatible siren or simply send a notification to your phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not make a sound. It just notifies you via the apps that you would have on your phone to monitor the SmartThings that you setup with the hub. There is a 3rd party device that can be used with the "things" such as the multipurpose sensor or motion sensor called Aeon Labs Siren (gen 5). You can plug in this device in another room away from the door and set it up to active the sound when the multipurpose sensor detects the door has been opened.
