I haven't but I plan to zip tie it to the pipe I'd rather lose a 35 dollar Sensor than flood my basement again.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not tried this, but I have a leak sensor from utilitech that has several feet of cord leading to the sensor, and it maybe could be used for such a purpose. I use mine to get behind the washer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thats not a bad idea, that way we dont risk losing the sensor as soon as water hits. Ill have to try that when i have some free time. Also it would be nice if we can use the temperature data that the sensor transmits.
