• I use it with the iMac Pro. As long as you have the right connecting adapter, it would work with a 12 inch MacBook.

• So this monitor has HDMI and display port. As long as your MacBook can push out an HDMI or display port signal you’re good. Make sense? The question is rather whether or not your MacBook supports external displays.
