Go into your BIOS when you boot (F2) and set the CDROM as the first boot device. Get out your Windows OS CD and pop it in. Run the install. If you have a floppy inserted, remove it. also disconnect any unused USB devices to make life easier.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If this drive is acting as your primary, you will need to put in your system disc before the machine starts up. If you've had the disc in, and it's not automatically starting up, you may need to set your bios to boot from disc first instead of booting from hard drive. If this is enabled, it will boot up no problem and start to install your windows program onto the new hard drive. If your still having further problems, it may be that it's being recognized as the slave(or secondary) drive in the system. In which case you should be able to partition/install the drive from your main windows screen. Hope that helps.
