I now only buy vacs that are considered “tangle free” & have a self cleaning brush roll. But my husband purchased this one as a surprise & much to my surprise not one bit of hair has collected in the brush roll! However, I only use this robot vac for the downstairs of our house. I spend most of my time in the upstairs office or bedroom & bathroom, which is where the majority of my hair collects. Although with now being in the holiday season, I HAVE been spending much more time in the kitchen & living area of our house & you can see from the picture I attached that there is not one single hair trapped in the brush roll! And we have run it almost every day for the last 2-2 1/2 weeks since purchasing. Hope this helps!
