The Shark EZ Robot is your easy path to a smart clean. It combines the convenience of a self-empty base with powerful Shark suction for a complete home clean. After each cleaning session, your robot automatically empties itself into the bagless self-empty base, which holds multiple sessions’ worth of dirt and debris so you can forget about vacuuming for weeks. Now that’s easy.
A: I ended up starting the vac upstairs, from the base, then moving the base and vac downstairs and running it again. Both times it returned to the base just fine. Second time I ran it upstairs and kept the base upstairs and then ran it downstairs, no base. I just set it on the floor against the wall and let it go. Worked great. So, it'll work either way. Absolutely looove it!
A: Hello, no this model does not.
Q: Can you program this vacuum to clean specific rooms at a time
A: Definitely NOT. I asked customer service this question after noticing on the app itself there wasn't even mapping on it. So long story short, not this model. This model cleans then if you go into History, you can select the date you want to see and it will show you the map of what it cleaned on that particular run. But there isn't anyway to pick a room for it to go. Of course it doesn't say anything about not having this function which is very frustrating. I would have picked a different model had I known. It does a great job cleaning though!
Q: Does this work well on carpet also?
A: Yes. Mine transitions perfectly between carpet and hardwood. Picks up just fine, and I have two huskies so there’s plenty for it to clean
Q: What is the height of the actual vacuum? The specs only seem to indicate the height of the unit.
A: The mobile until is 3 1/2". The stand is just over 10". So the mobile can do under chairs and beds, but not under a sofa.
Q: Are the BotBoundry strips included?
A: No. Not in this bundle. But currently Nov - Dec 2021 Sam's Club Store is selling with boundary strips bundle.
Q: Is this robot smart enough not to fall down stairs
A: Yes it will not fall down stairs. There are a couple warnings in the manual about not having carpet runners at the top of wood stairs and such where apparently the robot can get confused and risk falling. But I have not had a problem, it cleans up the the edge of steps on hard surfaces and does not risk falling.
Q: Does this have the self cleaning brush or the rubber roller?
A: self cleaning. However, if you have a dog or cat you will still need to open it up and pick out hair. And also need to blow or dust it out because of the hair as well But it still does a fair job keeping the house cleaner.
