“I lost the original control to my tv and use a universal control for my (old) tv alone (basically to select the imput to use my Apple TV). can I program my universal control to control my tv? Does it work with Spectrum cable control?”

I used my Harmony universal remote to program it. So I'm assuming any remote will.

I would think if the remote you are currently using is performing properly than you should be able to pair it with the SideClick. Once paired the SideClick it would be able to control, the power, volume, channels, and two other options of your choice.
