QuestionMy base station light won’t turn on even when trying through the app. Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong?

- Answer It sounds like your Base Station may not be properly plugged in. Make sure that the power cable is inserted into the Base Station all the way, and is securely plugged into the wall outlet as well. It might also help to check the cable itself for damage, and to try different outlets. As soon as the Base Station is properly powered, you should hear it say "Welcome to SimpliSafe".

- Answer SimpliSafe's cameras all connect via WiFi. The Wireless Outdoor Camera is able to function fully on battery power for up to 3 to 6 months. And both the Outdoor Camera and the Smart Alarm Indoor Camera do feature color night vision, via the integrated spotlight.
