You're describing bandwidth/speed, so we'll say that we recommend at least 2mbps upload dedicated to the camera (so if you have more devices on your WiFi network, you'll want to account for those too). In terms of signal strength, we recommend -55 dBm. Once you have your camera installed, you can use the Connection Check tool in the SimpliSafe app to see if it's in a good spot!
