Yes. However, usually you don’t arm the motion detectors when you’re home so that you/pets don’t accidentally trigger them. Maybe if the sensors are downstairs while you sleep upstairs, it makes sense to arm the downstairs ones. You can do a split configuration like that easily. Also, you can add as many sensors as you need (not sure of the limit) to expand the system to cover more entry points. Don’t forget to look at glass break detectors, too.
