• Yes the camera does, the new key fob does not.

• Yes! I have the old system just upgraded the cell phone module to a Verizon version. (Contact Simpli Safe for the new module.) This was simple to do. The cameras are great and easy to use. And for added protection Simpli Safe can access them in the case of an event.
