• Camera only supports 2.4 g. I had to change my modem settings from 5 to 2.4 g then it worked.

• Your cell phone doesn’t matter. What matters is your home wifi. Most WiFi (unless you have higher end mesh or Verizon 5G) is 2.4ghz. You also have the option on most of those networks to create a 2.4ghz so it works on almost all systems and networks.

• Different technology, 5G is one of many bands used for cellular communication. These cameras use WiFi 2.4 ghz, good news is it’ll work with any modern smart phone/tablet.
