The home antenna is weatherproof and is designed for mounting on the back of most SiriusXM boom boxes or permanently mounted outdoor. The home antenna is compatible with all SiriusXM boom boxes and has the same aiming requirements: The antenna requires a clear view of the southern horizon with no metalic window films or window screens in the way. And the view to the southern horizon must not be obstructed by trees, buildings or mountains above 15 degrees from the horizon. Indoor installations rarely work. Depending on the nearby obstructions you might have to mount the antenna on an outside window sill or higher on the side of the house or on the roof.
