• A:Answer There isn't any battery in the antenna but there are a lot of electronics in the antenna that get powered from the Tivoli radio over the antenna's coax cable. Most likely the antenna's cable has been disconnected or severed or the electronics inside the antenna have failed. You mention the antenna is mounted outside so if it is located more than 20 feet from the tivoli radio, then your installation uses an extension coaxial cable so you should check to see if the cable has become disconnected or unplugged from the Tivoli radio or: follow the cable from back of the Tivoli radio all the way to the antenna to see if it has become broken or disconnected. Often these cables break where they transit from inside the home to outside. They might get pinched by a window for example. The antenna or any extension cable might be broken and need to be replaced. Note: it is also possible that the Tivoli radio is broken so if you purchase a new antenna first just plug the antenna directly to the Tivoli radio before installing it. If connecting a new antenna to the Tivoli makes the "antenna not detected" message go away that will confirm the Tivoli is OK. If the error message remains then your Tivoli radio has failed. The new antenna must be mounted outside for proper reception but trying the new antenna indoor as described above is an easy temporary test to rule out the Tivoli as a cause of failure.

• A:Answer No. The SiriusXM home antenna works with a Satellite receiver. The HTR-5960 is XM ready but it does not have an XM tuner built in. If you have an XM tuner that is compatible with AVR that display the "XM Ready" logo, such as the Model #XHD2H1, then this home antenna will work with that XM tuner, but not directly with the HTR-5960 without that XM tuner.

• A:Answer No, these receivers do not have satellite receivers built in so they are not compatible with the SiriusXM antenna NGHA3. To add SiriusXM reception to your audio/AVR receivers you need to add a SiriusXM Satellite radio. Such as the Onyx EZR model# SXEZR1H1. This home radio comes with a home antenna and a satellite radio and includes RCA stereo cables to connect the satellite radio to your receiver.

Q: QuestionI have a Sansui Digital Synthesized Tuner TU-X701 and am having trouble in pulling in broadcast stations in Canon City. Is it possible to incorporate Sirius XM radio to this tuner? Thanks Ron

• A:Answer it appears that the TU-X701 is an FM/AM tuner that you would use with a Stereo Amplifier. We don't offer any SiriusXM tuners for the home that would connect directly to the TU-X701,however every home tuner that SiriusXM offers comes with a stereo cable that can connect to the stereo amplifier that you use with the TU-X701. Our satellite home radios all come with a home antenna that needs to be placed outdoors with a clear view of the southern horizon with no obstructions of buildings or bushes or trees that block to view of the sky 40 degrees above the horizon. If it isn't practical to get the antenna outside with this view you might want to consider one of our internet radios such as the GDI-SXTTR3 which streams our content from the internet and can be connected to your stereo amplified.

• A:Answer while the home antenna could be used, it is not ideal for moving vehicles. It would be best to use either the NVGA3 vehicle antenna if you have a metal roof to connect it to or use the Shakespeare SRA-50B antenna for fiberglass or other non-metal roof applications.

• A:Answer Sorry no. The antenna you mention is just an antenna and not a SiriusXM tuner + antenna that is needed. Please consult the user guide for your Yamaha receiver to identify the model Sirius, XM or SiriusXM tuner that you will need.
