• A:Answer Not sure if the sketch below will come through ok; but I have two speakers set off from the bunch, a good 40 feet from the subwoofer (by the fire pit). The others are in a line along the back of our house with the sub and run the length of the pool. At lower volumes, it’s a little hard to hear the sub at the fire pit, but at normal volumes, like 35-50%, it sounds great. One advantage that I have is that the sub is leveraging the back wall of the house. I literally had the electrician run two separate zones to the same interior room, assuming this would not work well and that eventually I’d have to get another system for the fire pit area. • A:Answer Hi, Thank you for your question. The Sonos amp does not offer Bluetooth; however, the back of the Sonos amp does have an Aux. input using RCA connections. You may be able to find a Bluetooth adaptor that has an RCA output as an alternative to built-in Bluetooth. That said, the Sonos app allows you to stream music from your music library and music services like Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Sirius XM, etc., wirelessly using your home WiFi network. The app is free and extremely easy to use and set up. I typically don't recommend using Bluetooth because the phone or tablet you are streaming from must stay within roughly 30 feet of the Bluetooth adaptor at all times for the signal to stay connected. If you accidentally walk away with your phone or take a phone call, the music stops playing. It can be a bit of a hassle to stream using Bluetooth. I hope you found this information helpful. Q: QuestionCan you link 2 6.1 Mag series systems together? Essentially giving you a 12.2 speaker set up with 2 zones? I would want the option to both systems play the same input at the same time.

• A:Answer Your understanding is incorrect. No RCA cables are used. What you need is one speaker cable that has 4 wires. 2 for right channel and 2 for the left channel and then you daisy chain the connection as you lay out your speakers. Each pair of speaker will be a left and a right and you break into the cable along the way to make the connections. See the photo of the wire needed.

Q: QuestionWhat does the wiring diagram for the six satellite setup look like? Won't having 6 satellites overload the Amp as its only designed for 4 8 OHM speakers?

• A:Answer I asked a similar question to Sonance directly and there answer is below (I was asking if the Sonos Amp would work and what I'd lose by going that route). From Sonance Support: "The Sonance Patio Series can be driven in a 4.1 or 6.1 configuration off a single SONOS amplifier. I would not recommend running a 8.1 or 8.2 off a single SONOS amplifier. You would not have access to SonARC equalization by using a SONOS amplifier. You would not use the subwoofer output on your SONOS amplifier, instead the Sonance Patio Series subwoofer would be wired in parallel as if it was being driven by a Sonance SR 2-125 amplifier. Feel free to reach out to myself if you happen to have any further questions or concerns."

Q: QuestionCan I use two of these 6.1 systems to make a 12.2 system using only 1 amp? Sonance's website says that the system can be upgraded to a 16.2 using only 1 amp. 1 amp I would use for this system, and another amp could be used in another room with speakers.

• A:Answer Simple answer is no, you’ll overload your Sonos amp. If you have two of these systems, use the provided Sonos amp with each 6.1 system. You will not be disappointed. You can then use the Sonos app to provide a single source of audio to each system, or separate audio sources to them individually.

• A:Answer On the Sonos app select settings, select system, select the room name, and select EQ. Then you can adjust the sliders for bass or traeble. My system sounded really good right out of the box. You may also want to check your wiring of the speakers. It’s possible you got some of the wires reversed causing the polarity to be wrong. This will affect the sound.
