A:AnswerI think you have a great idea here, I put 2 in this configuration and sounds great. Room size was approximately 600x600 feet. I also use a Sonos beam plus sub and nothing behind seating areas. Trying a beam plus sub might be a good option before purchasing two fives.

A:AnswerYes, it will pair. You'll need to use the Sonos app that you will have to load to your Mac. You can also play using "Stream What You Hear" from your computer. If you're not tech savy it can be annoying in the beginning.
