A:AnswerI think you have a great idea here, I put 2 in this configuration and sounds great. Room size was approximately 600x600 feet. I also use a Sonos beam plus sub and nothing behind seating areas. Trying a beam plus sub might be a good option before purchasing two fives.
A:AnswerYou would probably need to run a line in to hardwire the vizio to the sonos system. They are wireless and only sync with other sonos products unless you use line in.
A:AnswerYes you can place them in different rooms, and also play different music in each room. You need a device to run the sonos app, and trueplay is just a way to improve the sound quality. They do need to plug in to a power source
A:AnswerThe only products that we make that are designed to plug in directly to the Tv are Arc, Beam, and Amp. Any of our other products can play tv sound, but only if they are grouped with on of our speakers that are designed to work with your tv.
A:AnswerYes, it will pair. You'll need to use the Sonos app that you will have to load to your Mac. You can also play using "Stream What You Hear" from your computer. If you're not tech savy it can be annoying in the beginning.
A:AnswerI have play 1’s installed in this same manner underneath a patio cover in Las Vegas. They are subjected to the heat and the cold but work great. Have had no issues with leaving them outside.
