• Hi, and thanks for your question! The Five simply connects with a 3.5mm line in connection. So it's incredibly easy. There are six speakers inside of the Sonos Five each powered by it's own incredibly efficient amplifier. We think it sounds incredible, and we think you'd agree. However, there are many scenarios that impact acoustics so we can't give you a definite answer. We think you should try it and find out :)

• I connected the Arc directly to my tv, plugged the 5s to electricity and used the Sonos app to connect it to the arc sound bar. And the sub. My new tv has all the apps and spectrum so I disconnected my cable box and CD player. I was told that I need a Sonos port if I want to hook up my receiver and CD player to the Sonos. That’s another $400. For now l’m just good.
