• Yes I leave it on the ring when I am not using it so it is always charged and ready to go... Sound so good for any room or outside..As of date, I think it is Sonos' best sounding speaker!!! I was blown away at the quality..I have Play 1 and 5's which are good..but this was a great improvement... hope this helps...

• Yes. I leave it on the charging ring & use it as an extra speaker most of the time. I take it outside if I'll be in the yard for an extended period.
