• You must Bluetooth or wifi it to a transmitting source... iPod, iPhone, computer or tablet etc... it is not a stand alone system.

• The Move can play content by using the Sonos App or Airplay 2 which require a WiFi connection or anything that your phone is playing over Bluetooth. The speaker itself does need an external controller (such as a phone) to function.
