• Not sure about the interest part. Open box -I’ve found to be a great deal. I always purchase the extended warranty anyway. So it gives you 4 years warranty. The standard only gives you one.

• Correct, you get a full warranty on open-box items. In addition, by using the store credit card, you can get deferred interest.
