You need to use one of their sound bars or speakers. They always want to sell you more.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Sub cannot be connected directly to any TV set. It can only connect to SONOS ARC soundbar (or other Sono's speakers), but only if your Wi-Fi home network does not include Ruckus. The Sub is a very good product, but Sonos as a brand name is horrible with wireless connections. Since I have Ruckus included in my Smart Home Wi-Fi network, I had to return the Sub to Best Buy earlier today because it would not connect to my Sonos ARC. I spent two weeks communicating with Sonos technical support after writing a strong complaint to Sonos CEO. Ultimately, they provided an inadequate solution which totally contradicted and negated their claim of "easy set up" printed in all their manuals. Their manuals do not tell the whole story.
