“I just bought a Sonos Arc sound bar to hook up to my Sony TV. I have it plugged into the HDMI Arc port. Will this Sonos sub woofer pair up with my sound bar or do I need a separate Bluetooth transmitter plugged into the 3.5 mm plug in?”

• The Sonos Sub will connect flawlessly with the Sonos Arc through a whole-home Wifi system without anything else required. It will not work with Bluetooth at all.

• If you haven’t already with the ARC, you need to set it up with the Sonos App. Once you do that, it’s seamless on setting up the subwoofer (also through the app). Keep In mind it all connects via wi-fi.
