“I have a laptop that doesnt have bluetooth and doesnt support an external bluetooth adapter. When i plug the headphones in with the supplied cable, i can only have audio access and no microphone. Can anyone suggest an adapter or a work around?”

The supplied cable is only for audio... Check if there's a cable that fits and has mic support, simply count the lines at the tip of 3.5mm jack they need to be 3 lines
