- Answer This comes with an equalizer option; however, it is not clear if you can control the volume of each speaker.

QuestionI have a Sony receiver and when I switch it to Bluetooth on the receiver it’s making a clicking noise through the speakers and it’s not playing off my iPhone. Any way to fix the problem or do I need to return the product?

- Answer From what I understand, it is an either/or situation. A sound bar has an embedded amplifier and no were near the power as this receiver. I purchased a slim Polk center speaker to attached to this receiver. If you are set on a soundbar. Don't get a receiver.

QuestionIs it necessary to run this on a TCL Roku UHD 4K non-HDR equipped TV or can I just get away with a non-4K 7.1 Sony receiver? Also do I need a 4K BD to get its full capacity/function? Thanks in advance...

- Answer Hi Pornstar, no, this receiver will work with non-4K TVs. If you plan on watching 4K content, that is the time that you will be needing a 4K Bluray player and TV. It is great to have 4K devices capable of playing native 4K content, but they are not required. Thanks, -Mark

QuestionI have hooked up my reciever the sony STR-DH770, what the directions are saying is that you have to go to the Input to the reciever to watch tv and dvd's, is this correct because i am not getting a pic for the TV

QuestionCan I still use my Sony sound bar and sub set up, or do I need to hear surround sound all the time. Sometimes I would like to watch TV the regular way, and does this unit need to be powered on all the time. I leave TV on for dog and he doesn't care.

QuestionHave unit working with sat. and bluray but can not get sound thru tuner on external antenna or netflix. I am useing the HDMI cable hooked up thru ARC port. What am I doing wrong???

- Answer How is your Netflix getting to the receiver? You'll have to tell us more since there are a million ways to watch Netflix. Is it an app on your SmartTV? A Chromecast? Cast from a Browser? Something else? And the Tuner is pretty horrible on that thing. Are you tuned to a station strong enough? I can only get noise and just stream all my radio stations via the TV. And they were nice enough to make a port that won't accept an external powered antenna (the cheaper DH550 has a regular coax connector for FM).

QuestionIs there a way to adjust/enhance the dialogue? I sometimes can't hear spoken words over the other sounds. Also, my Yamaha sub always powers off after a few seconds if there is not much base in a movie, should I adjust a setting?

- Answer Turn the cutoff frequency all the way up on your sub woofer. It also depends on the sound quality of whatever your watching. Blu rays, and dvds will produce more bass, versus streaming.

QuestionMy Sony will let Alexia connect to Bluetooth, but allows my Ipad. Is there a Set up in Easy Set Up? I had to return 1st one because Bluetooth stopped working. This new one will not connect.
