could be a simple short. change the cables out, try using a different HDMI input or output port, or try going back to component just to test the signal

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Assuming you're using an HDMI cable from your CB to the TV, my first suggestion would be to go to Picture Mode and set it to Standard. Some of the movie modes over-soften the picture and make regular programming looked a bit washed out. You can also try playing with Advanced Picture settings - particularly turning on the smoottheness function (gives you that soap opera video effect) or adjust sharpness and detail.
