“I have LAN connection for my cable . Will it work with this TV . And do I need to purchase any addition cables. Oh and I will be able to get all my cable channels correct”

Yes, you plug in a LAN cable, but it is also wifi ready. Talk to your cable provider about the other part. I would advise having an HDMI cable on hand (expensive ones are NOT better than cheap ones) and a better sound bar.
