Q: QuestionIs this a region free DVD player? I search up “Region Free” and this is the first result.

• A:Answer Generally, probably not. The user manual indicates that one would have to check the sticker on the bottom of the unit, to find out for which region a particular player is registered. My player is registered for region 1, and works with DVDs here in the U.S. The manual indicates that there is a sticker option "ALL" for all regions. But my unit is not one of those. You might want to contact SONY directly to find out whether an "ALL" unit might be available.

• A:Answer There is no output for analog video. However flat screen TVs have become so inexpensive you might considering buying one for this Blu-Ray player. Best Buy sometimes has unexpected deals on the floor. As an FYI I always add the Greed Squad warranty for not having to worry about something going wrong with any unit in the first few years. Just my opinion from experience. I don't work for Best Buy.

• A:Answer I tried to connect with my mine I also have a PC windows 10 but I was not successful the 6700 could not pair with my computer and I know it's the blu-ray player's problem coz my computer found the player and was able to pair with the player. I use this player only as a backup. If this will be your main player I suggest you get a different model preferably a higher end model. The 6700 also automatically shuts off in about 15 min. so if you put it on pause it will shut off so you have to restart again. It is clunky and a crappy player if this was my main player I would be very disappointed.

• A:Answer It only allows the addition of the SongPal app. However the unit is DLNA Certified: The features explain: "DLNA certification allows you to enjoy various content from your home network, such as photo (JPEG/PNG/GIF), music (MP3/WMA/WAV), and video (AVCHD/MPEG/WMV/XVID) files stored on your Windows 7/8 PC (or other DLNA Certified media server/Android device) through the Sony BDP-S6700 - up to 999 files/folders. The Blu-ray player can be connected to your compatible PC using a hardwired Ethernet (LAN) connection or WiFi connection (via built-in WiFi). This eliminates the need to copy your photo, video, and music files to a separate USB storage device." Concerning stations, the unit does not have a VHF or UHF tuner and antenna input. I don't know any brand that would have that older feature today.
