A:AnswerYes, you should be able to get good video at 200 yds, easily. However, there are many other factors besides the camera that will make a difference - like make sure you have a tripod or monopod, lighting, movement in the shot, etc.
My Sony does excellent at log distance video or stills.

A:AnswerThe reason why it doesn't go down in price is because it's a Sony camera. But, you also have piece of mind because it's a great quality camera and the fact that it starts the same price shows that it's an amazing camera that hasn't lost its value. I have it and I would definer recommend it.

A:AnswerYes, you can zoom in and out while taking video. What you cannot do is take still shots while taking video, but this isn't a huge issue as it is easy to use editing software to separate out a single frame.
A:AnswerI have not used this new camera enough to honestly answer this question...The few pictures I have taken, however, are not as clear as my cannon pictures, but I do love the features on the sony. The Cannons does not offer a view finder on a simple camera without the the extra zoom lens. I wanted all in one camera. So far, I like the Sony and will take more pictures before my trial time is up before I can answer this question..
A:AnswerHi Jose, The Sony DSCHX400 can record at 1080p. The screen tilts on a hinge-style system, which means you can't flip it 180 degrees for a selfie, but it does come in handy for shooting at odd angles comfortably. -Anthony
