• A:Answer It needs to be in rest mode if you want to remote play from your PS5. A new update to the portal was released that allows you to stream your own games if you are a PS+ Premium subscriber.

WiFi can be very fickle with bandwidth, especially if there are several devices on the network, ultimately interfering with stability on your Portal.

• A:Answer No, it does not have to be on the same network. You can use PS Remote Play over the internet, even if you’re miles away — as long as both your PS5 and the remote device (like a smartphone, PS Portal, PC, etc.) have strong and stable internet connections.

Q: QuestionMy Nephew has a ps5 and it works until he plays Fortnite and then it overheats and its when he plays Fortnite do you know what would cause it? And if i buy him a Ps5 Portal and he played Fortnite on it would it overheat or should it be fine?

• A:Answer Usually the portal is best with single player games when I tried playing with multiplayer games it would have a couple seconds lag other than that yes it would work. The other problem would be that your PlayStation would still be on while the portal is being used so there is still a chance the PlayStation could overheat. Maybe trying to clean out any dust in the fans or even buying an attachment fan could work .

• A:Answer It will, but only if you're at home connected to your PS5 using remote play. The USBC receiver being connected to your PS5 of course. Otherwise, you can only use a PS5 link earbud/headphones. Your other option would be to use a 3mm connection to the portable.
