There is an option in the app to prioritize Bluetooth stability or quality. Even with quality selected, the lag isn’t that bad. Movie/video is fine without noticeable lag in iPhone 12 Pro or HP Zbook studio. However for gaming, I would strongly advise going with wired headphones/earphones if you play games in which reaction time is important. Or perhaps something designed specifically for it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Personally I think a movie was great with these nothing noticeable for me at least but then I tried playing MuseDash (music timing rhythm game) and that’s when I notice it to be a little off but that’s a music game it’s a little different then genshin impact, nier automata, or shin megami tenses where I also tested and was about the same as movie and they paired quite easily to a Nintendo switch if that helps anyone
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve used them to watch YouTube videos, and there is no noticeable latency

The audio playback on the headset may be delayed from that on the transmitting device, due to the characteristics of Bluetooth wireless technology. As a result, the sound may not be in sync with the image when viewing movies or playing games. But, the Sony Linkbuds is perfect for music playback and for taking calls due to our Integrated Processor V1 reproduces all the detail in your music with minimal distortion for an authentic listening experience and the Precise Voice Pickup technology that optimally controls multiple microphones and performs advanced voice signal processing. If you're going to use it mainly for playing games or watching movies, I'd recommend using a Bluetooth headphones that supports wired connection like the Sony WH-1000XM4. Hope this helps! -Sam
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Latency is fine. But I wouldnt recommend for either of those use cases. Maybe audbiles or music while in an environment you need to be able to hear around you.
