A:AnswerHi Mag, Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, you can connect a CD player to one of the RCA audio input jacks of this receiver. However, you will have to connect your speakers directly to the speaker port of this receiver to output the sound. Hope this helps! -Sam
A:AnswerHi Al, thank you for inquiring about the STRDH190. The supported codecs are SBC4 and AAC. With our STR-DH190 Stereo receiver with Bluetooth, you can choose whether you enjoy the warm sound of vinyl via the phono input or stream music from your digital music collection, it'll be a perfect match. Additionally, the receiver’s A or B function lets you connect two pairs of speakers. You can easily switch between A or B or use them all together at the same time. You can check the specification below.

A:AnswerI hooked a powered sub to my Sony receiver. My sub had speaker wire inputs so I used regular speaker wire to hook it up with. Works and sounds great.
A:AnswerNo HDMI. I use a digital-to-analog sound converter between my TV and this receiver/amp and with a common pigtail (red/white) cable it will plug into any of the four available INPUT ports. There is no port listed as 'auxiliary" on this amp as there was on my last amp but any of the available INPUTS 1 to 4 works the same. Caution! I just left a rather tough review of this receiver/amp. The display failed on mine within two hours after I hooked it up. Everything works but there's no display. This item appears to have quality issues.
