- Answer Yes, it will handle 100w per speaker quite well. I have 2 Bose shelf speakers and 1 Yamaha Center speaker all rated 100w or more and they sound great. No problem. The Sony Amp is great. Love it!

- Answer Hi Vkvijay, Thanks for your inquiry. You can connect speakers with an impedance of 6-16ohms. Speakers are also connected via standard speaker wires (bare wire). You may want to check the specifications of your speakers. -Ralph

- Answer I just replaced my old Yamaha receiver so I could have bluetooth capabilities. Hooked up my 5 existing speakers and subwoofer and it worked out great.

- Answer I would do two wall speakers, center and sub. Center is definitely needed for clear voice and will make a huge difference. Sub will give you that nice bass and movie sound. I know I probably gave you more than what you asked for but just trying to help. 2 speakers in the front with the center, 2 in the opposite side with sub. That’s my setup.

QuestionWhy can t my passive sub woofer be connected to the middle speaker connectors? I do on my Panasonic receiver and it works great!

- Answer Hi Lenny, Unfortunately, you can only connect a wired speaker that has a nominal impedance of 6 ohms to 16 ohms. We also recommend active subwoofer be connected to the subwoofer port. Regards, David

- Answer Hi Josh, Yes, you can select 2ch Stereo mode for the sound field. Also, make sure the speakers that you have are within a nominal impedance of 6 ohms to 16 ohms otherwise it will not work. Regards, David

- Answer Hi Test, You cannot connect a wireless speakers to this AV receiver. We recommend connecting wired speakers with a nominal impedance of 6 ohms to 16 ohms. We also recommend using speaker wires that are anywhere between 12 to 16 gauge. These are most commonly used for connecting speakers to an amplifier or an Audio/Video (A/V) receiver Regards, David
