I just replaced my old Yamaha receiver so I could have bluetooth capabilities. Hooked up my 5 existing speakers and subwoofer and it worked out great.

The speakers of your DAV-HDX500 is not compatible with our STRDH590 as it has lower impedance rating. We recommend using speakers rated at 6 ohms to 16 ohms with this receiver for the best results.
