“Can I use this amp with 100w speakers or does it have too much power at 725w?”

• Yes, it will handle 100w per speaker quite well. I have 2 Bose shelf speakers and 1 Yamaha Center speaker all rated 100w or more and they sound great. No problem. The Sony Amp is great. Love it!

• Hi Mercury, Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, the receiver is designed to support 145W per channel (5 channels). Make sure that the speakers also have an impedance of 6-16ohms. Speakers are also connected via standard speaker wires (bare wire). -Ralph
