A:AnswerHi Curious,
No, we only recommend using headphones to the AV receiver. Full operation is not guaranteed when you connect an AUX cord to the unit.

David
A:AnswerHi Bman,
The AV receiver is capable of playing 7.1 surround sound but the source also needs to be 7.1 ready. The sample source is DTS Neo:6.

David
A:AnswerHi James,
Thank you for the interest! We recommend connecting wired speakers with a nominal impedance of 6 ohms to 16 ohms. We also recommend using speaker wires that are anywhere between 12 to 16 gauge. These are most commonly used for connecting speakers to an amplifier or an Audio/Video (A/V) receiver
Regards,
David
A:AnswerHi Me, thank you for your question. All HDMI jacks on the receiver support wide color spaces, Deep Color (Deep Colour), and HDR (High Dynamic Range) contents pass-through. The power output for the front, center, surround and surround back speakers is 145 W per channel. This unit comes with a remote. ~Earl
A:AnswerHi Joe, thank you for your question. This unit is rated 90 watts per channel with minimum RMS power at stereo mode and 6 ohms speaker impedance. You may check the specifications of your speakers to match the unit. Please take note that matching speakers and subwoofer with lower impedance (ohms) and watts than what the A/V receiver is rated may cause damage to the receiver and is not recommended. ~Earl
A:AnswerHi Chris,
Unfortunately, you cannot connect an amplifier to this AV receiver. See page 14 from this link for sample subwoofer connection.

A:AnswerI was able to use two of the speakers outside with a volume control. The issue doing this poor man’s 2-channel is you can’t adjust volume inside without affecting the volume outside. The sound outside will match inside, but with one exception. With the volume control switch connected to the outside speakers…you can turn down the volume outside. However inside might be too loud.
If two zones are required, it would be better to choose a receiver that has 2-channels.
A:AnswerHello Chuck,
Yes, you can pass through 4K using this AV receiver to your PlayStation 5. Be sure to use a High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet. When you use high bandwidth video formats such as 4K/60p 4:4:4, 4:2:2 and 4K/60p 4:2:0 10 bit, a Premium High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet, which can support bandwidth up to 18 Gbps, is required. A:AnswerHi jtrippe77,
Yes, just remove any objects that may block the IR signal between your remote control and the device.
NOTE: Glass doors or enclosures can affect the signal from the remote control. Open glass doors to determine if that makes a difference.
Regards,
David
A:AnswerHi TCN,
The ARC function connects your TV and audio system with a single High Speed HDMI cable and eliminates the need for an additional composite audio or optical cable. You can select the receiver by the SYNC MENU of the TV and operate the receiver. This function can be used only if the TV supports the SYNC MENU. For details, refer to the operating instructions of the TV. More details on the link below.

A:AnswerHi Santosh,
You cannot adjust the volume of the speaker individually. Speaker level means how loud or quiet the speakers can be.

David
A:AnswerHi AntMan,
No, FM wire antenna is included on the AV receiver for FM signal. Connecting a coaxial cable will not work for FM radio.
