“If I connect my Ps5 directly to my tv with hdmi, and connect an hdmi from my TVs earc to this receiver. Will it play the audio through my 7.1 surround speakers? I only ask because this avr does not support hdmi 2.1 120hz, trying to bypass that problem. Ty”

Hi Bman, The AV receiver is capable of playing 7.1 surround sound but the source also needs to be 7.1 ready. The sample source is DTS Neo:6. Regards, David
