A:AnswerI don't know how they fair on a plain, but the Sony Headphones app has an option where you can lower the sound quality a little bit in order fo a much more stable connection. The earbuds connect to the Bluetooth of your phone and can be remembered so it can automatically connect when you take them out of their case. You don't need to always open the app to connect them the app is just for sound customization of the earbuds.
A:AnswerI have charged them with the 18w charger that came with my Pixel 2 frequently and it has caused no obvious issues. As with any lithium battery, fast charging will slightly reduce battery life compared to slower charge rates, but most likely not enough that you will notice.
A:AnswerTraditionally,
Sony's 1000x series has been very difficult to get in stock for the first few months of their release, as to when they will appear that I cannot answer. My advise is to check back frequently, as unhelpful as that is you have to understand they are a new product and very hot right now. Check back frequently and keep an eye on the website as they will be the best place to buy them from. Any instore product can and will be used to fulfill online orders so don't expect to find a hidden cache in a store in your area.
A:AnswerThese use Bluetooth 5.0. If both devices are Bluetooth 5.0 compatible, according to ideal environment be up to 800 feet. The airpods uses Bluetooth 4.2, which in ideal environment is 200 feet. Nothing is ever ideal, and you will get about 30 feet with the Airpods indoors. Since these are 800 feet, indoors I go up and downstairs that's over 100 feet without loss of connectivity or sound distortion. Hope that helps

A:AnswerI connected mine to windows 10 on the first try. That said, while the audio quality wasn't terrible terrible, it was noticably worse while connected to windows. I would say the quality reminded me of old Bluetooth headsets from 10 years ago...really hollow and quiet.
I also connected these to my Mac without problem.
A:AnswerThe USB-A end of it's charging cable supports USB-A 2.0 and higher. If you want to use the provided cable for data transfer, I would recommend it but, as far as charging is concerned you should be fine!
