The USB-A end of it's charging cable supports USB-A 2.0 and higher. If you want to use the provided cable for data transfer, I would recommend it but, as far as charging is concerned you should be fine!

Charging may not be successful with cables other than the supplied USB Type-C cable. Furthermore, when connecting the charging case to a computer, use only the supplied USB Type-C cable, and be sure to directly connect them. Charging will not be properly completed when the charging case is connected through a USB hub. Regards, Jess
