- Answer If the walkman has bluetooth, you should be able to connect. You can also use a wired connection and still turn on the headphones for noise-cancelling.

QuestionThe shooting ranges for pistols and long guns, has tremendous loud noises and concussion type noises. I have an early pair of the Sony noise cancelling over the ear headphones and they are useless. My question is if the new Sony WH1000xm2.. would work?

- Answer ANC is useless at the firing range and always will be. They are just not built for that.

QuestionCan these connect to multiple bluetooth sources at once (Bose QC35 can do 2). Only one will play at a time but can be connected to PC and iPhone for instance. Also can the connections be viewed in the App and selected on/off (like Bose QC35).

- Answer I read that these are BT 4.1 and can multi connect to 2 devices. the 1000x don't, the new ones do.

QuestionAny way to have the Sony WH-1000XM2 connected to both a MacBook Pro and an iPhone at the same time, to listen music from the MacBook and receive/make cellphone calls? I've read it is possible but apparently only in Windows environments?

- Answer You do realize that you can answer phone calls from your MacBook if it uses the same iCloud account as your iPhone. Just make sure you turn on this feature on the iPhone.

QuestionI bought one recently. It was advertised as headphones with closed acoustic system (i.e. people on the outside can't hear what you're listening to). However, no matter what volume level I use it seems that the sound just passes through the ear cups? Any1?

- Answer I have yet to have any cracking problems with these. But, I have the previous model as well (the original 1000x) and haven't had any problems with them either. I use them daily and travel with them as well. I do keep them in the case when I'm not using them, could something have possibly happened to yours to cause them to crack? If you haven't already, it may be worth contacting Sony. These are a premium set of headphones, and they have lived up to that with me.

- Answer No, they can't because the PS4 doesn't support audio over Bluetooth ( stupid, I know ). They can plug into the PS4 controller for game audio, but they can't be used as a wired headset with mic since it doesn't support a 4-pole connector.

- Answer Mine are squeaking. Comes from above the joint of the earbuds. Enough so that I can hear it when listening to low volume music with noise cancelling.
