This is a case of Best Buy not doing its "due diligence". This is the US version, which does NOT have a working fingerprint sensor and should not be advertised as having such. You can flash another firmware from Europe or Asia, but you will lose some connectivity features (like Wifi calling and voLTE).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.None of the US models have the fingerprint scanner working out of the box. It is disabled via software. You have to manually enable it with some flashing but it's all stock firmware and doesn't require root or unlocking the bootloader. I have mine working with fingerprint, t mobile Wi-Fi calling, VoLTE, HD Voice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is the US-spec model, with the fingerprint scanner disabled.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a fingerprint sensor, but it has been disabled in the software on the US version. You can flash the phone with different (non-US) firmware to get the fingerprint sensor to work, but apparently the ability for VoLTE/VoWiFi/etc. is included in the US firmware, so flashing international firmware for the fingerprint sensor could now in turn hurt your connection/ability to make phone calls (depending on your network, your area, etc.).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It says in the specs that it has a fingerprint sensor.
