What is the total depth needed to stack these units? What if I purchased the side-venting accessory kit? By how much would that reduce the depth requirement, including venting? Thanks.”

The total stacked depth of the WF220ANW washer and DV220AEW dryer is 35-1/4" without the venting. Though the electric dryer could be vented out either side instead of the back to save space, rear venting would add another 5" to the depth. It's also important to note that Samsung has special ventilation requirements for alcove or closet installation which I would suggest reviewing if you were to find a solution to the issue of depth.
