The plastic slides also attach on the sides of the dryer bottom. Just leave the bracket loose on the back only screw the screws a little. I had to bend mine on the floor just a tad. Pushed on it and bent it over just a smidge. Also make sure you are using the correct pair of brackets., they send you two styles, slightly different holes.

A:AnswerThe SK-5A stacking kit is designed to hold the dryer safely and securely on top of the washer, but the stacked units are not designed to be bolted to the floor, nor are they intended to support the weight of a child. If it is likely that a child would have unsupervised access to be able to climb on the machines, then I would suggest installing them sturdily on the ground side-by-side, without the stacking kit. It is worth noting, however, that Samsung would advise against children climbing on any major appliance, not just the stacked laundry pair.

The stacking kit actually takes up a bit less space than would the dryer feet, but the actual total height of the stacked pair can vary by up to an inch or so depending on whether the washer feet are fully extended. This, in turn, is dependent on how level the floor is. It is important to have the necessary space to adjust the washer leveling legs in order to minimize vibration and optimize performance of the machines.
I would also suggest you review the ventilation requirements for the dryer if you intend to install the machines in an area with limited space. Please refer to the Alcove and Closet Ventilation Requirements - see attached image below. Other standard dryer ventilation requirements are listed in the User Manual.
