A:Answer The SK-5A stacking kit is designed to hold the dryer safely and securely on top of the washer, but the stacked units are not designed to be bolted to the floor, nor are they intended to support the weight of a child. If it is likely that a child would have unsupervised access to be able to climb on the machines, then I would suggest installing them sturdily on the ground side-by-side, without the stacking kit. It is worth noting, however, that Samsung would advise against children climbing on any major appliance, not just the stacked laundry pair.
