“How tall is the stacked set? I just bought a DV407AGW Dryer and a WF407ANW/XAA Washer, just waiting for them to be delivered. I plan on stacking them but would like to know if the stacking kit cuts off the inch or so with the feet or if just combining the 2 heights at 39 inches for a total of 78 will be the height. Im tight on room.”

Thank you for the question. The stacking kit actually takes up a bit less space than would the dryer feet, but the actual total height of the stacked pair can vary by up to an inch or so depending on whether the washer feet are fully extended. This, in turn, is dependent on how level the floor is. It is important to have the necessary space to adjust the washer leveling legs in order to minimize vibration and optimize performance of the machines. I would also suggest you review the ventilation requirements for the dryer if you intend to install the machines in an area with limited space.
