Hello, I just purchased this SwannSecurity system to replace my old Samsung dvr that stopped working , everything is going great so far, just one question . I used a static Ip for my previous cameras, do I need to keep it active for these? null

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. No, you will use the QR code on the DVR to set up the remote access on your unit. Your DVR recorder will have to be hard-wired to your router for internet connection.

You can replace it with new dvr. I switched from night owl and kept static
